Article 2 | What data do we use?

Here you will find an overview of the data we process, why we need it, on what legal basis and how long we will keep this data. We process your name, e-mail address, address details and bank details that are necessary to optimally provide our services based on the agreement. Without this information we cannot properly execute the agreement. For example, we cannot ship ‘your jacket’ if we do not have the information.

We keep this data for 7 years (this is the legal retention period for the Tax Authorities). If you unexpectedly have a complaint about our services, we will process your name, email and the content of this complaint in order to find the best possible solution for you. We use this information for optimal execution of the agreement. We will keep the data until this complaint has been resolved. We use analytics services to enable and optimize our website. We have a commercial interest (legitimate interest) to use your surfing behavior on our website and related data to analyze our service and improve it where necessary (see Article 6).

We will track your use of our website with Google Analytics and are bound by Google’s retention periods. When you complete the contact form on our website, we process, with your explicit permission, your name, e-mail, telephone number and other data that you wish to enter on the form. We retain data from completed contact forms until your question has been addressed and resolved.

Article 3 | How do we obtain the data?

We obtain the aforementioned information from you as a customer or website visitor, because you provide this information to us when ordering.

Article 4 | What rights do you have with regard to this data?

The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights with regard to the personal data that you have had us process.

1. Inspection – You can request us to inspect your data at any time. To verify your identity, we may ask you for confirmation of your identity, using the KopieID app.
2. Changes – You can submit a request if you would like to have your data adjusted, corrected, supplemented, shielded or deleted based on inspection.
3. Objection – You can object to the processing of your data on the legal basis of the legitimate interest of Noordhoek Vintage.
4. Data transfer – If you wish to transfer your data to another provider, Noordhoek Vintage will provide your data in a structured and common form that can be opened by common digital systems.
5. Automated processing – You may always let us know your position on an automated decision by Noordhoek Vintage and have this decision reconsidered by a third person.
6. Withdrawal – When we have processed data based on your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This may have consequences for the services we can provide you.

To exercise your rights, you can send a request to info@noordhoek-vintage.com. We will assess your request as quickly as possible. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will let you know why we are rejecting your request.

Article 5 | Who receives your data?

Noordhoek Vintage will not provide your data to third parties, unless this is necessary for optimal business operations or is required by a legal obligation. We will not resell your data.

These cookies cannot damage your devices. Noordhoek Vintage uses functional and analytical cookies. – Functional cookies ensure that the website works well in all browsers and on all devices.
