Craftsmanship – Many vintage pieces were produced in the countries where their brands originated. Think of Ralph Lauren in the USA, Burberry in England and Lacoste in France. Today, production has largely shifted overseas, often driven by lower manufacturing costs.

Sustainability – In the past, many garments were made using high-quality natural materials like cotton and wool. Over time, cheaper synthetic alternatives such as polyester and acrylic became increasingly common.

Clothing should be made to last, not to be replaced. That’s why we search for pieces that have already lived a life and are ready for a second one.
