Well-known brands are beautiful, but it often happens that people wear the same thing as you. If this bothers you, that’s your sign to start wearing vintage!
Because vintage means 20 years and older, it is rare that models from those times are still in today’s collections. For this reason, vintage models are one-of-a-kind and difficult to find. Although some collections from the past are being revived, for example the ‘POLO BEAR by RALPH LAUREN’ collection. But you still often see a significant difference between the old and new versions.

Vintage is Quality
At Noordhoek Vintage we care about craftsmanship and sustainability.
Craftsmanship – Clothes were first produced exclusively in countries where the brand was located. For example, Ralph Lauren produced exclusively in the USA and Canada, and Lacoste only in France. Nowadays they produce in countries where their production costs are minimal, mainly in Asia.
Sustainability – At the end of the 19th century, natural fabrics (such as cotton and wool) were increasingly replaced by artificial fabrics (such as polyester and acrylic) to save costs. Every clothing lover knows that this also comes at the expense of qualitative sustainability.
Because the production focus used to be on quality not quantity,
vintage lasts a lifetime!
